Meet Dr. LuAnn Roy, NMD
Hello and welcome! My name is Dr. LuAnn Roy, and I’m so excited to introduce myself as the newest member of the CDA Acupuncture & Holistic Healing family.
My journey into naturopathic medicine began in a very personal way. A close loved one was struggling with life-altering health problems, and conventional medicine didn’t seem to have the answers we were looking for. I took it upon myself to dig deeper, searching for solutions — and that search led me to discover naturopathic medicine. From the very beginning, it just made sense. Everything clicked, and I knew this was what I was meant to do.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing what some might call “impossible” transformations. Over and over again, I’ve seen the body’s incredible ability to heal itself when it’s given the proper conditions and support. Those experiences fuel my passion and remind me daily why I love this work so much.
While I enjoy helping patients with a variety of health concerns, my true passion is longevity and vitality — especially for women navigating the changes leading up to and after menopause. I believe this stage of life can be one of renewal, empowerment, and strength when approached with the right tools, guidance, and compassion.
Outside of medicine, my greatest joys are being a wife and a mom. My family and I recently made the big decision to leave Arizona in search of a much-needed change. Although it wasn’t easy to say goodbye to our lives there, we fell in love with the beauty, warmth, and community of Coeur d’Alene and knew this was where we were meant to be.
I am deeply grateful to have found a home here at CDA Acupuncture & Holistic Healing, a practice that embodies the same values I hold dear: compassion, collaboration, and whole-person care.
I can’t wait to meet you, listen to your story, and partner with you on your path to health. Together, we’ll focus on creating the right conditions for your body to thrive — helping you find peace, reach your goals, and feel vibrant at every stage of life.
With warmth and gratitude,
Dr. LuAnn Roy, NMD
