Dr. Hallowitz is a naturopathic medical doctor (NMD), classically-trained Chinese medicine practitioner and licensed acupuncturist providing alternative medicine options to the Inland Northwest community. He concentrates his treatments on whole-patient wellness, evidence-based clinical naturopathic medicine and Chinese medicine theory and therapies that have been practiced over the past millennia. Dr. Toby tailors to each individual patient’s unique condition rather than focusing on the disease. Using natural treatment modalities such as acupuncture, dietary modification, nutritional supplements, botanical medicine, homeopathy, Chinese herbology, nature cure, and hydrotherapy, he emphasizes prevention and restoration of balance to the body, mind and spirit.

Dr. Toby grew up in the Washington D.C. metro area, obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Rochester, NY and received his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in Portland. Dr. Toby has worked with patients who have many different health concerns and conditions. Some of these include: cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, smoking, autoimmune disease, heavy metal toxicity, musculoskeletal complaints, infertility, pregnancy (including pre-birth acupuncture), menopausal symptoms, insomnia, back & neck pain, depression, anxiety, dermatological conditions and much more. Diagnosed years ago with Crohn's disease, he has a vast amount of experience in treating digestive disorders with natural medicine. Dr. Toby does not take any pharmaceutical medications for his condition.

Dr. LuAnn Roy is a licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor dedicated to integrative and regenerative medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut and went on to receive her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine—now Sonoran University of Health Sciences—in Arizona.

With extensive experience in primary care and a passion for whole-person wellness, Dr. Roy specializes in hormone optimization, integrative medicine, and advanced regenerative therapies. Her clinical expertise includes joint and facial PRP procedures, peptide therapy, IV nutrient therapy, vitamin injection therapy, and regenerative modalities such as Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) and the Tennant Biomodulator. FSM is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that uses subtle frequencies to support cellular repair, reduce pain, and restore optimal function—offering patients a unique path to healing and vitality.

Dr. Roy fell in love with the beauty and lifestyle of Northern Idaho and relocated with her husband, son, and their dog to make Coeur d’Alene their home. When she isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and cherishing simple moments with her family.

She is honored to join the team at CDA Acupuncture & Holistic Healing and looks forward to serving the community with compassionate, integrative care.

Dr. Thor Bostrom earned his Doctor of Chiropractic and a Masters in Sports Medicine from the University of Western States. He loves improving the lives of everyone from babies to seniors through proper motion and body mechanics. Having worked in high volume clinics as well as specialized personal injury clinics, Dr. Thor delivers efficient and personalized care. Being active at the gym and exploring the wonderful outdoors with his family is his favorite way to spend his free time.

Growing up in Coeur d'Alene, surrounded by nature and an abundance of outdoor activities, Sally developed a love for plants and its medicinal healing powers. Focusing on living a healthy life was continually a part of her daily routine. She left Coeur d'Alene after obtaining a degree in science, with a focus in botany and human biology. She then relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii where she continued her studies, attending The Institute of Clinical Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Sally had the opportunity to study in China at Guangzhou University Hospital, as well as intern at Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, where she was personally asked to study under Dr. Wai Low. Treatments were focused on stress and pain management.

Graduating in 2012, Sally opened her first clinical practice in Kailua, Hawaii where she specialized in women's health, pain management, mental health (including anxiety, depression, stress management, insomnia, PTSD and trauma). Beyond these specialties, Sally also sees patients for general health concerns and overall wellness. She is excited to return to her roots in Coeur d'Alene where she can share all of her knowledge and healing experience to help patients rebalance their body, mind, and spirit.

Tambry is a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. She is certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is board certified in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

Prior to studying Chinese medicine, Tambry received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Human Development. After graduation, she spent a year volunteering with AmeriCorps at a Community Health Center in Denver, CO where she worked as a patient navigator to provide healthcare to low-income populations. It was here that she observed how the Western medical system was failing so many and sparked her passion to be able to help people through a more holistic approach that focused on the root causes of disease. As a result of this experience and the profound impact Chinese medicine played in her own health journey, she was inspired to study this medicine so that others can experience what a powerful form of healing it is.

In her practice, Tambry is passionate about helping you improve your health so that you can be the best version of yourself. She strives to create a space where you feel safe, heard and respected. She provides holistic health care to patients experiencing a wide variety of symptoms from pain to mental health, digestion, insomnia, women’s health, and more. Through the use of multiple modalities including acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping, herbs, nutrition, and lifestyle modification, her goal is to help you bring your health back into balance.

In her free time, Tambry enjoys reading, baking, and spending time in nature. She is excited and grateful to be a part of the team here at CDA Acupuncture and looks forward to assisting you on your healing journey.

Anastasia is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Idaho. Raised in Spirit Lake, ID, she now resides in the heart of beautiful downtown Coeur d’Alene. She studied at the American Institute of Clinical Massage in Post Falls, Idaho. At AiCM she focused her studies on medical and deep tissue massage. Since being licensed, she has integrated into her practice neuromuscular tissue release. Anastasia obtained her level one certification in myofascial release and continues to strive for her level two certification in myofascial release.

In her massage practice she loves to incorporate aromatherapy, stretching, and cupping. She is an advocate of holistic healing and health and promotes the use of CBD infused with arnica; a topical treatment to help with pain and inflammation in the body’s joints and muscles. She is excited to be part of a team that works together in promoting a holistic healing lifestyle to others.

Keira was born and raised here in North Idaho. She grew up in Hayden, ID and now resides in Spirit Lake, ID with her husband and three young daughters. She attended North Idaho College where she obtained her nursing degree. Immediately after graduating, she attended Lewis and Clark State College to further her education and earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While completing her bachelor's degree online, she started her nursing career working at Kootenai Health in the nephrology unit and later on transferred to the pediatric unit. She recently joined our clinic to help us revamp and grow our IV nutrition and injection therapy. In her spare time she enjoys camping, traveling, crafting, gardening and taking care of their family's farm animals. She is excited to be part of our team and to be able to offer these services to our patients.

My journey in life steered me in the direction of providing holistic skin care – treating the body and skin as one cohesive unit – what happens inside our body is reflected on our skin. I have learned a lot over the years, from observing my Mom’s traditional healing ways in the mountains of Austria and from practicing in conventional Western medicine, having spent over two decades in the nursing field specializing in geriatrics and also providing weight loss and nutritional consulting. I feel fortunate to now be working together with a professional team at CDA Acupuncture and Holistic Healing to provide truly holistic skin care for the community – addressing all the different factors which play a role in maintaining healthy skin as we age.

Brigitte grew up on a small farm in the mountains of Tirol, Austria. She spent her childhood out among nature, exploring the woods, investigating the native fields of herbs, flowers and plant life, and communing with the farm animals and other wildlife. Nature continues to be one of her more influential teachers.

Brigitte has learned a lot from her mother, Margit. She had a very strong attraction for learning local natural healing traditions and Margit went out of her way to learn traditional methods of healing from family, friends and neighbors. Many of Kneipp’s and Priessnitz’ techniques are still orally circulating among villagers, and she grew up personally utilizing many of these techniques.

Holistic skin care is the philosophy of treating the body and skin as one cohesive unit - what happens inside our body is reflected on our skin. Brigitte focuses on helping the skin to function optimally by stimulating the healing power of nature with performance, results-driven natural skin care products, facials, nanoneedling, microcurrent and other noninvasive healing modalities.

Erin is our office manager. Erin has worked in the holistic healthcare field since 2017 and loves being a part of the community. You can find her spending time in nature with her family, hiking, camping, foraging for plants and gardening. She also loves taking her Jeep out to find new adventures with her family as much as she loves to kick back and read a good book. She is dedicated to making the workplace run smoothly and to provide support wherever is needed. We are lucky to have her as a part of our team and are excited for our new growth.

Journee grew up in Juneau, Alaska where she developed a love for nature and people. She recently moved to Idaho with just her Jeep, fiance, and Saint Bernard, Cowboy. She enjoys traveling, photography, music, and graphic design.
Journee is a newcomer to naturopathic medicine and is excited to help others achieve better health through holistic approaches while also implementing a more natural lifestyle for herself!

Megan is very excited to return to our clinic, you will find her in the front office when needed but she will be the primary go-to for your insurance questions. You can find her out hiking with her fiancé and loves to find new places to explore. She has experience in the healthcare industry and offers a wide variety of knowledge to our clinic. She is eager to grow her career with our team and to help take us to the next level.
